PURPOSE:To obtain an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition causing little discoloration and lowering of physical properties after the sterilization with ionizing radiation and useful as a material for medical goods by using an alkylene oxide adduct of a halogenated bisphenol compound as a component. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin composition contains (A) an aromatic polycarbonate resin preferably having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 10,000-40,000 (especially 18,000-25,000), (B) 0.1-10wt.%, preferably 0.2-5wt.% (in terms of halogen atom) of an alkylene oxide adduct of a halogenated bisphenol compound and/or its polymer, e.g. a compound of formula I [i and j are >=1; m is integer of 1-5; R0 is 2-4C alkylene; R1 and R4 are 1-5C alkyl, H, etc.; R2 and R3 are H or group of formula II (y is 0-5); X1 to X4 are H, halogen, etc.] and, as necessary, (C) 0.1-5wt.% of polypropylene glycol. |
