Exclusively mechanical and/or thermotechnical quantities are used as control parameters. A cascaded system may be used, displacement of the control rod being the source of control parameter for the subordinate loops. Alternatively a single fixed quantity control loop may be used to derive the over-riding mechanical parameter, power demand error signals or their differentials w.r.t. time, being applied at the inputs/outputs of the system. The system provides quick response with freedom from hunting, overshoot, etc. |
