<p>The curb unit incorporates profile sections, for varied indication of different types of traffic areas and surfaces, esp. on roads, such as carriageway edges, separation of carriageways from verges, dividing lines, traffic-separation islands, traffic barriers, also road drainage and improved crossover to grassed areas. It has a statically adequate rectangular cross-section, profiled with requisite upright and horizontal curb indications. These are arranged so that changing sides and settings of the horizontally sited cross-section produces different horizontal curb profiles. It can incorporate cut-outs for connecting-anchors, to accommodate reflectors on the visible side. A single type of curb unit can be used for a wide range of purposes, simplifying storage and laying.</p> |
