PURPOSE:To compact the periphery of an internal combustion engine so as to make effective use of an engine room by integrally providing to an intake pipe both a muffler for an idling speed control valve and an air bypass valve mounting portion where an air bypass valve is mounted, the intake pipe being connected to an inter cooler. CONSTITUTION:An intake pipe 14 has a supercharger 18 and an inter cooler 20 provided in sequence from the side of an air cleaner 16 and a cavity muffler 36 for an idling speed control valve and an air bypass valve mounting portion 38 are integrally provided to a third intake pipe 14-3 between the inter cooler 20 and a throttle body 12, the third intake pipe 14-3 serving as the outlet side intake pipe of the inter cooler 20. A first idle bypass pipe is connected to the first connecting port portion 40 of the muffler 36 and the idling speed control valve is interposed in the first idle bypass pipe. A second idle bypass pipe is connected to the second connecting port portion 46 of the muffler 36. An air bypass valve 50 is mounted to the air bypass valve mounting portion 38 and an air bypass pipe 52 to be connected to a first intake pipe 14-1 is connected to the valve 50. |
