<p>PURPOSE:To securely protect a tape by comparing an revolving speed of a drum with a predetermined revolving speed and stopping the drum motor in the case of a difference between these speeds. CONSTITUTION:When a cylinder drum 1 is rotated, this revolving speed is detected by a detecting means 11, and its result is impressed upon a control means 12. Now, if the tape 8 is under the state of sticking to the cylinder drum 1, the revolving speed of the cylinder drum 1 is lowered or stopped. Consequently, since the above revolving speed detected by the detecting means 11 is not conformed with the specified one, a drum motor driving means 9 is stopped in its drive by the control means 12, so that the revolution of the drum motor is stopped. Therefore, under such a state that the cylinder drum 1 or the tape 8 has a fingerprint or dew condensation and is stuck to each other, even when the cylinder drum 1 is to be rotated, a reel is braked, and the tape 8 is not drawn out. By this method, the tape is never wrapped around, and hence no damage is given to the tape.</p> |
