PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient contrast even if a display material layer is reduced in thickness, and to print in high resolution with low energy without reducing a magnetic output by using the material layer containing polymer which absorbs iodine as a main ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic layer capable of recording and reproducing magnetic information, and a display material layer capable of displaying characters, a pattern is provided on a card such as a prepaid card, etc., to form a magnetic card. The material layer is formed of polymer which absorbs iodine as a main ingredient to obtain a magnetic card capable of printing by heat or light. More specifically, a magnetic layer 2 is provided on one side of a base material 1, and a display material layer 3 is provided on its opposite side. Further, the layer 3 may be further provided on the layer 2 provided on one side of the material 1. The polymer which absorbs iodine includes, for example, nylon polymer such as nylon-6, nylon-66, nylon-12, etc. |
