摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel-hydrogen storage battery capable of improving durability by using hydrogen storing alloy with a less cobalt amount than a conventional one as a negative electrode. <P>SOLUTION: An AB<SB>5</SB>based hydrogen storage alloy used for the negative electrode 13 of the nickel-hydrogen storage battery 10 has an element A of misch metal, and an element B which mainly contains nickel and substitutes a part of nickel for other element containing cobalt. A mole ratio of the element B to the element A of the AB<SB>5</SB>based hydrogen storage alloy is not less than 5.25, a cobalt amount to 1 mol of the element A is 0.15-0.25 mol, and a ratio of a half-value width of a peak of a face 002 and a half-value width of a peak of a face 200 in X-ray diffraction is 1.3-1.7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
