<p>PURPOSE:To contrive to manufacture in a small-size and simple structure and to form a recording head body and a control circuit as an integral part, by performing a detection of recording head body abnormality and the other various controls with a memory means having a small memory capacity. CONSTITUTION:Temporary memory means 31, 41, an error check circuit 30, an electric conduction control circuit 40, an LED element conduction circuit 50, and a head drive power source circuit 60 are all integrally incorporated in a control circuit substrate 3. An LED head body 20 consists of a shift register 21, a latch/driver circuit 22, and an LED array 23. On the input side of the shift register 21 a signal input terminal 24 connected to a data control part 10 and a lock terminal 25 are provided, and on the output side thereof a signal output terminal 26 connected to the temporary memory means 31 of the side of the error check circuit 30 is provided. The temporary memory means 31, 41 fetch a corresponding function bit signal from the output signal terminal side of the shift register 21 and store it temporarily. According to the corresponding function bit signal respectively stored in the temporary memory means 31, 41, the error check circuit 30 and the conduction control circuit 40 perform an error check and a conduction control on the recording head body side.</p> |
