摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To equalize the emitted light quantity distribution by melting, deforming and decomposing the side face of each element fiber extending from one end in which an optical fiber bundle has been bound, to the other end in which said bundle has been aligned in a line shape and making the passing luminous flux quantity between the element fibers uniform. CONSTITUTION:A light guiding device 4 consists of plastic element fibers and its input side end face 5 is bound, and brought to specular polishing after it has been stuck. In the emitting side end face, element fibers are arranged in a line shape and fixed by the upper and the lower push plates 6, 7. To its end face, a curved surface reflection mirror 8 for converging a light beam from the emitting end face is fixed, and a converged light by the mirror 8 is detected by a photodetecting sensor 9. In this constitution, a reference light of necessary quantity as the emitting light quantity is made incident, and an output of the sensor at that time is set as a reference voltage. Subsequently, a trimming terminal 10 provided with a heating heater chip, etc., and the sensor 9 are placed on a scanning device, moved by comparing the output of the sensor and a reference value, and while trimming, and the light quantity of each element fiber is made constant. In such a way, the light guiding device of a uniform light quantity distribution is obtained.</p>
