<p>PURPOSE:To stop the operation of a part of aeration tanks without stopping the operation of the entire part of the waste water treating device having the plural aeration tanks by connecting the other end of a bypass pipe to the root end of the flow transfer pipe between the other aeration tank and the aeration tank and further mounting a cap to close a water feed pipe. CONSTITUTION:A bypass port 18 which is normally held closed by the cap 17 is provided at the front end of the flow transfer pipe 15. A window port 19 for working is provided near the branch point of the water feed pipe 16 on the upper side of the flow transfer pipe 15. The cap 22 is normally held put in the window port 19 for working. A step part 23 to be mounted with the cap 21 for closing the water feed pipe 16 at the time of providing the bypass line is formed at the branch point of the flow transfer pipe 15 and the water feed pipe 16. An aeration cylinder 54 is erected through a contact filter medium 53 in the central part of the aeration tank. A diffusion plate 540 is disposed on top of the aeration cylinder 54 apart a slight spacing from the top end. The air feed pipe 54 for aeration is provided through the diffusion plate 540. The bottom end of the air feed pipe 541 is located lower than the bottom end of the aeration cylinder 54.</p> |
