PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic ink which is stable for a long time, is lowly abrasive to the apparatus to be and can form a bar code pattern harmonious with the hue of an article by mixing a binder resin with a magnetic substance containing an organic magnetic substance. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic ink is obtained by mixing a binder resin (e.g. PS, a styrene/propylene copolymer, PVC, PE or PP) with a magnetic substance containing an organic magnetic substance (ferrocene polymer) e.g. one containing an organic magnetic substance and an inorganic magnetic substance, e.g. Fe, Ni, Co, alloy thereof, MnFeO4 or Fe3O4. This ink is stable for a long time and is not abrasive to the apparatus to be used. This ink can form a bar code pattern harmonious with the hue of an article. |
