A block (1, 1a) fits on the rear of the pan (2) using the seat bolts (3). Each side is a tubular arm (7), shaped to clear the pan and bent upwards. Each pivots (1b) in the block, enabling it to be raised independently. The forward end of each arm (12) has a hand grip (8, 10), pointing inwards to restrict the front opening. These can pivot outwards for entry. Also fixed to each side arm is a support bracket (13), ending in a tongue (14) locating on top of the pan. These absorb the person's weight on the arm and allow either arm to raise the seat against a stay (16, 17). |
