PURPOSE: To obtain a flavor which contains a flavor component firmly bonded to a substance which sticks on a living body and to obtain a flavor which sticks to a wet region in a mouth, can dissolve and release the flavor component at a desired time and gives specific feeling in a mouth. CONSTITUTION: This flavor is obtd. by spray drying a flavor such as spearmint oil and cinnamon oil, a substance such as amylopectin and carboxymethyl cellulose which sticks to a living body, an aminoacid-based sweetener, and a purifying agent such as α-ionone for breath, with a hydrophobic material such as fat and wax and a diluent. For example, a spray dried flavor component comprising a flavor component, hydrophilic compd. and sweetener is mixed with the obtd. flavor and compressed to obtain compressed sweet tablets. The tablets contain 0.05 to 0.35wt.% flavor, 500ppm sweetener and 0.5 to 30wt.% substance which sticks to a living body. |
