PURPOSE:To remove a seeking noise upon settling of a stepping motor and to rapidly stop the motor without hysteresis. CONSTITUTION:When the shortest period of a step pulse of a stepping motor is TA and a period longer than this is TB, an exciting pulse P1 for driving the motor in the same direction is added to the exciting current of the motor at a predetermined time point between a time point of a delay of the TA from the pulse to a time point of next step pulse as the period of the pulse is TB, and an exciting pulse P2 for driving the motor in a predetermined direction is also added to the exciting current at a predetermined time point after the TB is elapsed from the pulse as a final step pulse is supplied. |
