METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HIGH PURITY FREE FORM-ASTAXANTHIN

The present invention relates to a method for producing high-purity free-astaxanthin. More specifically, the method includes the following steps: (S1) loading a specimen containing low-purity free-astaxanthin onto a silica gel; and (S2) running nucleic acid, ethyl acetate, or a mixture thereof. According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain high-purity free-astaxanthin with low costs and high efficiency as well as high reproducibility.
