Disclosed is an air conditioner which enables speed control of air while guiding the air in a desirable direction without spoiling the external appearance of the air conditioner. The air conditioner comprises: a ceiling type indoor unit which sucks indoor air from an inlet and at the same time discharges air into a room from an outlet; a main flap provided to guide the air discharged from the outlet in a set direction; and a sub-flap provided to guide the air in the set direction in a space from the main flap, wherein the length of the main flap in an air flowing direction is greater than the length of the sub-flap in the air flowing direction.
