PURPOSE:To attain ease of taking out of a cassette, by forming the distance from a position of the cassette opposite to other short side face so as to be increased from the inside of a housing toward the outer side in a tape cassette insertion/discharge port. CONSTITUTION:A slot-in type tape cassette device 10 is arranged in the housing 14 of a magnetic tape running device 12. One of a pair of pedestals 30 of a horizontal shift member 26 of the device 10 is provided with a pair of toungs 44 made of an elastic member, and a support member 46 is formed on the other pedestal 30 with the same manner as the toungs 44. A right side face 50 of the tape cassette insertion/discharge port 36 is tilted to be parted from a left side face 48 of the insertion/discharge port 36 toward the outer surface of the housing 14. In the 2nd position loaded with a microcassette 38 in this way, in depressing an ejection button 56, the cassette is set to the 1st position with the member 26 and an elevating and descending member 22, and when the member 26 is stopped, the cassette 36 is turned around a part clipped with the toungs 44 with the inertia force, allowing to attain ease of taking out. |
