PURPOSE:To increase the strength of a green compact and to make burning contraction isotropic by using a raw material contg. aspherical powder and spherical powder in a specified weight ratio as the raw material for the ceramic product to be burned. CONSTITUTION:The aspherical ceramic product raw powder and spherical ceramic product raw powder are mixed in the weight ratio of 2/8 to 8/2 to produce the raw material for a ceramic product. Alumina, mullite, etc., are used for the raw powder, and the aspherical powder is appropriately obtained by crushing the spherical powder. A necessary additive such as a binder is further added to the raw material, and the mixture is compacted into a green compact. The green compact is then burned to obtain a ceramic product. The ceramic for the mechanical and electronic parts, etc., having high dimensional accuracy is produced in this way in good yield. |
