PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency in a window of a branch and to ease the congestion of the window by concentrically executing exchange work in another place without executing the work in the windows of respective branches. CONSTITUTION:An exchange processing system 12 forms clean data from the data of a received exchange slip and transmits the formed data to a host computer 14. Plural OCR devices 16 are prepared in a branch system 10 to set up slips in the devices 16. The devices 16 read out the slips, recognize characters and apply character recognition data to corresponding window terminals 18 to decide exchange slips or not. The decided results are collected to a terminal control device 20 and only exchange slips are transmitted to the system 12. A processor 24 receives the transmitted data and distributes the data to plural terminals 22 to form reading data and clean data, which are returned to the processor 24 and then transmitted to the host system 14. |
