PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing drying apparatus in which by controlling conditions of hot air for drying by using a heat pump for a heat source, it is possible to dry with little power dissipation and in a short time and there are little drying wrinkles. SOLUTION: By controlling the compression capacity of a compressor 41 by a compression capacity variable means 45, the temperature of air supplied to a rotation tub 5 with a blower 12 becomes below a predetermined temperature to reduce the wrinkles at the time of drying of clothing 4.
