Two flat blocks of insulating material contain slots through which pass metallic prongs. One of these prongs has a 180 deg. bend and passes back through one slot to face the inner projection of the other prong. The space between the inner projections is appropriately dimensioned for the mounting of axially two-ended components such as diodes, resistors or capacitors. The conducting prongs are of hard-drawn metal and are also slightly cranked for mechanical rigidity. The upper and lower faces of the blocks have small cylindrical studs and corresponding oblong holes. These enable stacks of many such units to be press-studded together.
