The monitor (2) is housed in a dark box (1) carried in front of both eyes with two adjustable elastic headbands (4), one conveying current from a battery (3) and the other carrying earphones (9). A magnifying glass (7) with, e.g. 1:2 magnification, is mounted in front of the display, and a receiver (6) behind it for reception of, e.g. infrared transmissions from a microcomputer, which can also be carried on the head. USE/ADVANTAGE - With e.g. video games, very compact and inexpensive appts. can be worn and operated with infrared control links from batteries independent of mains electricity.
