FIELD: processes and tools for working materials by cutting, working of cylindrical gear wheels. ^ SUBSTANCE: head includes mutually exchangeable cutters of high-speed steel mounted in body at formation of sector free from cutters for indexing blank by tooth. In order to enhanced efficiency of working due to uniform distribution of load acting upon cutting edges of cutters, the last are mounted in the same plane in similar radial positions at gradually increased circumferential pitch. ^ EFFECT: improved design of cutting head, enhanced efficiency of working by means of such head. ^ 2 dwg |
