APPARATUS FOR LOADING A DISK FOR USE IN AN OPTICAL DISK PLAYER

An apparatus for loading a disk in an optical disk player is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by forming a circular traction wheel for transmitting the torque. An apparatus for loading a disk in an optical disk player comprises a loading motor(11), a deceleration pulley gear(14), and a driven gear. The loading motor generates the torque to transmit a driving force for moving a tray and vertically moving a reproduction part. The deceleration pulley gear decelerates the loading motor by receiving the torque. The driven gear transmits the torque from the deceleration pulley gear to the tray and the reproduction part. A circular pulley part(14b) formed on the upper part of the deceleration pulley gear receives the torque from the loading motor. A circular traction wheel(12') is placed at an output shaft of the loading motor and directly contacted to the pulley part of the deceleration pulley gear to transmit the torque by the friction force on the contact surface.
