PRODUCTION OF RARE EARTH MAGNETIC MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic characteristics of magnetic material by recombining a phase which is decomposed into alpha-Fe, REH2 and Fe2B by hydrogen occlusion with a RE2Fe14B phase stably and more anisotropically by a dehydrogenation when RE-Fe-B alloy (RE is a rare earth element which contains Y) is hydrogen processed. CONSTITUTION:Homogenized RE-Fe-B alloy (RE is a rare earth element which contains Y) is held in hydrogen gas atmosphere at 500 deg.C-1000 deg.C so as to occlude hydrogen, cooled in vacuum and is dehydrogenated by gradually lowering the temperature.
