<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reformer and fuel cell system which enable a combustor to achieve adequate combustion in each mode. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system has a combustor 25 capable of burning a combustion fuel to be fed to a heat chamber 25b with combustion oxidants to be supplied via intakes 25d1 and 25d2 built in multiple stages of the corresponding heat chamber 25b to generate a combustion gas. Additionally, it has a combustion oxidant supply means which is provided with the intakes 25d1 and 25d2 built in each stage from a rear anchor to a forefront in the heat chamber 25b, and is capable of independently and selectively supplying combustion oxidants to the intakes 25d1 and 25d2 built in each stage; and a control means for controlling the means for supplying combustion oxidants so that each amount of combustion oxidant input via the intakes 25d1 and 25d2 in each stage equals the corresponding setting value depending on the operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
