A construction machine with an attachment, in particular an excavator with a driver's cab containing control units on an understructure which is rotatably allocated to a supporting frame having wheels and/or holding claws on telescopic arms and is also provided with a boom, pivotably linked at one end, for at least one working tool, is improved by coupling pairs (57, 58) for securing the attachment to the construction machine being provided between the attachment on the one hand and the construction machine on the other hand, the coupling pair consisting of a closure element (57) projecting from the part equipped with it and a locking member (80), which can be inserted into the closure element (57) into the closure position, of a mating element (58) of the other part (58).
