PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print an image or a document on the entire surface of a sheet through a simple operation. SOLUTION: When a printer driver receives a page of print data from an application, a decision is made whether entire surface print is designated or not (S403), the margin is set at 0 if it is designated (S404), and then a decision is made whether preservation of aspect ratio is designated or not (S405). If preservation is designated, a reference side is determined (S406) and an image is enlarged or contracted (S408) at a side magnification for matching the short or long side of an image, respectively, with the short or long side of a sheet (S406, S407). The enlarged or contracted image is outputted to a printer (S409). |
