<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device capable of eliminating such possibility that a support member is bent in use in an ordinary state while sufficiently securing the rigidity of the support member, and surely suppressing the regression of a pedal arm when a vehicle collides on the contrary. <P>SOLUTION: In the pedal device for vehicle, in which a support member 2 for supporting a pedal arm 1 to be freely rotatable is attached to a dash panel 4 positioned in front of a deck cross member 5, a backward movement suppression guide 3 having a vertical guide face 31 horizontally crossing the support member 2 retracting when a vehicle collides is provided in the deck cross member 5, and a guide sliding part 23 sliding to the vertical guide face 31 of the backward movement suppression guide 3 is provided in the support member 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
