Suggested are a method and a system for classifying an entering vehicle in indoor parking lots using a WAP. The method for classifying an entering vehicle may include a step of determining whether a vehicle enters an indoor space by using an overlapping region for the coverage of wireless LAN AP located in the entrance of the indoor space, a step of receiving a wireless signal through the navigation of the vehicle when the vehicle enters the indoor space, and a step of downloading building information and an electric wave map for measuring the position of the vehicle by using the wireless signal.
