The machine, for cutting mitre grooves in panel-shaped workpieces, has cutters mounted above a movable guideway, each fitted with a device for application of a reinforcing layer. The workpiece guideway is in the form of a continuously moving conveyor (16), comprising circulating conveyor belt or chain with support cross-arms fixed on the outside. The mitre cutters (13), above the guideway plane, are fitted with devices for holding them down, ahead and at the rear. A device (40) for cutting the reinforcing layer is mounted between the layer-applying device ( 22) and the conveyor. Continuous work can be carried out in the peripheral area near the panel side. |
