PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time of software in a microprocessor with respect to detection of the printing line in a bankbook. CONSTITUTION:A line image sensor 2 which reads the printing line in a bankbook P is connected to a voltage comparator 5, and the voltage comparator 5 is connected to a programmable counter 6. The programmable counter 6 detects the printing line by the counted value set to a register 7. The program counter 6 is connected to a serial-in (parallel-out shift register 10 and is connected to a programmable counter 15 through an AND gate 11 and a parallel-in/ serial-out shift register 14. The programmable counter 15 detects the printing line by the counted value set to a register 16 and outputs a borrow signal indicating the detection result to a data latch 8. A CPU 17 stores latch data in a memory. |
