PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microwave dielectric porcelain composition which maintains a high dielectric constant and a low temperature coefficient in the region of microwaves and has a high quality coefficient. SOLUTION: This dielectric porcelain composition contains a tungsten bronze type solid solution of the formula: Ba6-3xR8+2xTi18O54 (R is either one of La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd), maintains a high electric constant and a low temperature coefficient, and can largely improve a quality coefficient. Therein, the value of (x) is expressed by the inequality: 0.5<=x<=0.7. When the solid solution is a composition wherein (x) is 2/3, the microwave dielectric porcelain composition having an excellent quality coefficient can be provided. When the solid solution is mixed with TiO2, the microwave dielectric porcelain composition having a sintering temperature lowered to about 1,350 deg.C and a temperature coefficient of 0 can be provided. |
