DEVELOPING ROLLER AND DEVELOPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller which is capable of obtaining good images and maintaining the good images over a long period of time and a developing device using such developing roller. SOLUTION: This developing roller is constituted by forming a semiconductive resin layer on the outer periphery of a metallic roller and carries a thin layer consisting of a nonmagnetic one-component developer on the front surface of this semiconductive resin layer and comes into contact in this state with a belt-like latent image holding member to supply the developer to the surface of the latent image holding member. The semiconductive resin layer of the developing roller contains a urea resin and/or melamine resin. This developing device is mounted with the developing roller described above.
