摘要 An optical lens (1) comprising an optically acting unit (5) where a light emitting element formed as a curved surface on at least one of a light incident surface and a light outputting surface acts on an output light in an X-axis direction, and a pair of protrusions (10) protruding in an optical axis direction from, and integrally formed with, an optically acting unit (5)-formed surface at the opposite ends of a light passing area, characterized in that the pair of protrusions (10) protrude beyond the surface of the optically acting unit. Such an optical lens (1) can prevent its optically acting unit (5) from directly contacting an optical lens (1) arranging surface or a side surface of a member set adjacent to the optical lens (1), whereby the optically acting unit (5) is not likely to be damaged.
