PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device body etc. which enables improvement of the safety against excess current regardless of LED lamps attached thereto.SOLUTION: A device body includes: a socket in which an LED lamp is removably attached through a mount piece of the LED lamp housing a lighting circuit for causing the LED to turn on; power receiving means 14 which is electrically connected to the socket and receives electric power from a commercial power supply; and excess current inhibition means 16 which is disposed between the socket and the power receiving means 14 and inhibits excess current from flowing into the LED lamp.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
