PURPOSE: To compact the whole device and to clearly distinguish respective divided key ranges by optionally setting up the range of an accompaniment key range on a keyboard. CONSTITUTION: Divided positions for an accompaniment key range and melody keys on the keyboard 1 are specified and a key code corresponding to an operation key on the keyboard 1 is set up in a divided position register 10 by a CPU 2. The key code is temporarily set up in an operation key register 9 by the CPU 2 and a key code higher than the divided position key code stored in the register 10 is sent to a melody sound preparing part 4 and a sound corresponding to the key code is sounded from a speaker 7. A key code lower than the key code stored in the register 10 is set up in an accompaniment sound register 8, a root sound and the sort of the code are discriminated and the route sound key code is applied to an adder 17 by the CPU 2. The adder 17 adds the key codes of respective constitutional sounds of a code and a base key code and applies the added sound to an accompaniment sound preparing part 18 and an accompaniment sound is outputted from the speaker 7. The divided position code set up in the register 10 is applied to an LED 20 by the CPU 2 and displayed by lighting, so that the divided positions of respective key ranges can be clearly displayed. |
