PURPOSE:To improve handiness, by so constituting that the inside of an oven housing is kept at an optional temperature permanently by only pressing a preheating button, and once a cooking timer is set and setting time for cooking is lapsed, heating is suspended. CONSTITUTION:A lower burner 2 and an upper burner 3 are provided on a gas oven 1, and gas supply to each of them is carried out by solenoid valves 4 and 5 whose valves are switched through a signal of a control circuit 7. While a preheat button is being pressed, a contact point 25 is turned on, a gate electric current is electrified to a gate of a thyristor 29 through a resistance 24, and output of the gate 30 is turned into an H level. In the early stage, both outputs for gates 31 and 32 are turned into L level, the solenoid valves 4 and 5 are turned on and the inside of a housing is heated by the burner 2 and 3. Then, a contact point 23 is turned on, a contact point 28 is turned off and a thyristor 29 is turned off, when a cooking timer is set upon loading of a material to be cooked. Thus, the output of the gate 30 is changed from the H level to the L level and the gas supply to the burners 2 and 3 is stopped, after a fixed time lapse of the cooking timer. |
