<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low NOx combustor by an RQL (Rich-Quick Quench-Lean) combustion type by securing the combustion time by accelerating mixing between fuel and air. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary type low NOx combustor is provided with a frame tube 8, a primary air jet pipe 12 jetting primary air from a tangent direction of the frame tube and rotating it in a combustion chamber, a fuel feed pipe 14 jetting the fuel in the axial direction of the combustion chamber. The frame tube is provided with a cylindrical secondary air feed pipe 16 projecting to the combustion chamber inside axially penetrating the center of an upstream end surface and feeding secondary air into the combustion chamber. A primary combustion space 6a where the fuel gas formed by mixing the primary air with the fuel performs the primary combustion under a lean oxygen atmosphere while rotating is formed between the outside of the secondary air feed pipe and the inner circumferential surface of the frame tube, and a secondary combustion space 6b where mixing gas between the combustion gas and the secondary air after the primary combustion performs the secondary combustion under a rich oxygen atmosphere is formed in the downstream side of the secondary air feed pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
