<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a composite-structural bone replacement material capable of easily realizing the composite-structural bone replacement material of rapid absorption and replacement after being buried into a defective area. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a process step of preparing a first slurry containing bioabsorbable ceramic particulates coated with organic matter on their surfaces and a second slurry containing the bioabsorbable ceramic particulates coated with the organic matter on their surfaces and having a concentration lower than the concentration of the first slurry, a process step of pouring the first slurry into a prescribed mold and heating the slurry to a temperature lower than the disappearance temperature of the organic matter and higher than the temperature at which the organic matter softens to have tacky adhesiveness, a process step of pouring the second slurry into the first slurry and heating the slurry to the temperature within the above range, a process step of pouring the first slurry onto the second slurry and heating the slurries to the temperature within the above temperature range, and a process step of parting the molding from the mold and heating the molding to the temperature above the sintering temperature of ceramics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
