Mould - with thin metal walled shells in a trough profile - to allow easy opening and security

The mould is formed in two shell-shaped sections by thin metal troughs which encompass the nest area for a curved product. The interior is filled with hard foam, with space allowed for heating and cooling channels, and an ejector. Further support can be given by mounting a tubular section to the mould. Thin-walled mould can withstand internal pressures, and can be opened and secured easily.
