PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying box which can be stacked in both opened and closed conditions of the cover and in which the front end of cover can be turned downward and opened, by tilting outward the side walls of the container body toward the upper opening and providing a stopper coming into contact with the peripheral edge when the containers are mutually fitted on the upper part of the side walls and stacked. SOLUTION: A carrying box 10 is constituted of a square container body 11 and a rotatable cover 13 divided into two. The upper end of the side wall 15 tilted outward to the upper opening is formed to have a U-shaped section. And further, handles 30 and stoppers 33 of both ends thereof are connected at the side wall provided with engageable protrusions 27. The stoppers 33 are put on the peripheral edge 19 of the lower container body when the container bodies are fitted and stcked. The upper container body 11 can be easily taken out. The covers 13 divided into two parts through an adjustment part 35 are connected in the peripheral edge 19. The outside end edge of the opening of the adjustment part 35 is connected to the end edge of the peripheral edge 19 through a hinge 37 so as to be rotatable by 270 degrees.
