<p>An electric cleaner (1001) having a cleaner body (10) capable of taking a standing position and a tilted position, an electric fan (1) incorporated in the cleaner body (10), a floor nozzle (16) capable of cleaning a surface to be cleaned with the cleaner body (10) in the standing position, a position detection section (3) for detecting whether the cleaner body (10) is in the standing position or in the tilted position, and a control section (2) for controlling electric power supplied to the electric cleaner (1). The control section (2) supplies first electric power to the electric fan (1) when the position detection section (3) detects that the cleaner body (1) is in the standing position. The control section (2) supplies second electric power less than the first electric power when the position detection section (3) detects that the cleaner body (1) is in the tilted position. In the electric cleaner (1001), overheating of the electric fan (1) is prevented.</p> |
