PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in developing durability, low temperature fixing property of a halftone image and high temperature offset resistance, free from winding during fixing, excellent in miscibility of a low molecular weight component and a high molecular weight component, and free from a development stripe. SOLUTION: In the toner containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, the binder resin comprises a polyester resin and the toner contains 10 to 40 mass% tetrahydrofuran (THF) insoluble content on the basis of the binder resin. The chromatograph measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) of the tetrahydrofuran (THF) insoluble content shows: the main peak in the region from 5,000 to 10,000 molecular weight; 0.02 to 0.2 ratio of the peak height at 50,000 molecular weight to the peak height at 10,000 molecular weight; 0.01 to 0.1 ratio of the peak height at 100,000 molecular weight to the peak height at 10,000 molecular weight; 0.01 to 0.1 ratio of the peak height at 1,000,000 molecular weight to the peak height at 10,000; and≥200,000 weight average molecular weight (Mw).
