Automatically controlled embroidering machine, in which the idling periods are practically eliminated and design combinations increased, was a carrier rail for a number of shuttle assemblies, the rail extending over the whole embroidering area and provided for each of the shuttle assemblies with a tranverseable housing including a slideway, two lateral guide walls and a cover.
