<p>PURPOSE:To produce thrust stably at all times, by performing feedforward control of the output voltage from an inverter based on a specific command. CONSTITUTION:DC power is fed from a power source through a variable- frequency, variable-voltage inverter 5 to induction motors 14A-14D for driving an electric rolling stock. An adder/subtractor 12 performs addition or subtraction of the rotary speed of a wheel 7 and a powering command or a regenerative brake command, and provides the result to a frequency controller 13. Output voltage of the inverter 5 is controlled by feeding an output signal VP from a voltage pattern generator 10 to a voltage controller 11. The voltage pattern generator 10 outputs a voltage pattern VP necessary for the electric vehicle at the instance when a powering command or a regenerative brake command is provided.</p> |
