摘要 PURPOSE: A method for the quantitative standardization of medicinal herbs by the steps of: measuring the sample of medicinal herbs; roasting due to the change in temperature and time; classifying the sample into 3 types such as a low flame, a medium flame or a strong flame; photographing the sample and performing the comparative analysis of colors using a Photoshop program; and performing the comparative analysis of the concentration of solids is provided. It is effectively used in mass production of medicinal herbs and maximization of medicinal effect. CONSTITUTION: The method for the quantitative standardization of medicinal herbs comprises: preparing the sample of medicinal herbs and measuring the weight of the sample; roasting the sample by controlling the intensity of a fire; classifying the sample into three types like this, a low flame, a medium flame or a strong flame; photographing the classified sample with a digital camera; obtaining a percentage value(%) from the quantitative color value of the photographed sample using a Photoshop program in a color comparative analysis stage; extracting the sample with 20ml water at 90deg.C for 10min and filtering with 300 μm sieve; and drying the extract at 100 to 110deg.C for 2hr, measuring the weight difference between before and after drying and dividing the weight of the extract by the volume to exhibit the concentration of total solids.
