The invention relates to a household cooking appliance including at least one first control member (9) movable between a plurality of positions and designed to enable a user to operate said device, as well as an information device (60) connected to said first control member (9) for transmitting a signal characteristic of at least one predetermined position of said first control member (9), characterised in that said information device (60) and said first control member (9) are connected, so as to transmit said signal, by means of at least one sensor (10, 11, 12) and at least one actuator (13) designed to remotely energise said sensor (10, 11, 12) when the first control member (9) is in said first predetermined position.
