PARAMETER TRANSMISSION METHOD FOR PACKET EXCHANGE

PURPOSE:To reduce the data length of a packet by linking plural parameters representing a service content corresponding to a call in a fixed sequence as a bit string forming an information element of a variable length class and integrating the string to the packet. CONSTITUTION:Plural parameters p1-p4 representing service contents corresponding to a call are linked so as to be integrated in an information element Ev of a variable length class and the linked parameters are integrated in a packet CR. Then one identification information is enough for the information element in comparison with corresponding the information element to each of the parameters p1-p4 to reduce the data length of the packet CR. Then the data length of the information element Ev is minimized by linking the parameters p1-p4 in a fixed sequence. In this case, definition information cross-referencing the parameters p1-p4 with bit numbers is provided to a receiver side of the packet CR to divide the bit string from its head by referencing the definition information and to read the parameters 1-p4.
