VIDEO TELEPHONE SYSTEM HAVING PROJECTING FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To allow the user to apply pointing indication or write to a real object at an opposite party with a simple configuration. CONSTITUTION:A real object is picked up by an image pickup device 2 between users at a remote location and the picked-up data are sent to an opposite party and projected and displayed on paper on a desk by a liquid crystal display projector 1. When an optional user makes a point-out indication to the real object or a video image of the real object of the opposite party projected on paper on a desk or the like, the video image is projected and displayed to the real object or paper on a desk of other party. Thus, point-out indication write is freely applied to the real object or its video image among users independently whether or not the real object is possessed by a party and presence is provided as if a job were made while the users face the one real object. Then the liquid crystal display device projector 1 is in use and a polarized light filter 4 is used in front of the image pickup device 2 to prevent oscillation when the reflectance of the projected display is high.
